There are certain hijab fabrics suitable and comfortable for daily wear and there is certain hijab fabric for formal and special occasions. Lightweight and breathable hijab materials are the best to wear during summer. It keeps the wearer cool. The best hijab fabrics in summer are: 

Cotton Hijab

Cotton fabric is made from natural fibers from cotton plants. It is soft and hypoallergenic which is great for sensitive skin. Coton hijab has great durability and lasts long. It is also highly absorbent and dries up easily. 

Silk Hijab

Silk is also produced naturally by insects like silkworms. It is lightweight and breathable making it comfortable and easy to wear. Silk is also a great thermal regulator which means it will keep your body cool during summer and warm during winter. 

Chiffon Hijab

Chiffon can be made from silk, cotton, and synthetic fibers. Silk chiffon and cotton chiffon are great for summer. The fabric is slightly sheer and has a rough feel. Chiffon hijab is usually thin and it has a great drape effect.

Georgette Hijab

Satin Hijab

Satin fabric can be made from silk, polyester, and rayon. Fabrics made from synthetic fibers are suitable for winter as they can provide warmth to the wearer. They are not as breathable as fabric made from natural fibers. Satin hijab has two different sides, one is matte and dull-looking while the other is shiny and lustrous. 

Viscose Hijab

Viscose fabric is one type of rayon and can be worn during summer and winter. However, the viscose hijab is great for winter. It is lightweight on the head and can keep you warm during the winter season.

Pashmina Hijab

The best hijab material for hair is silk hijab. It is soft and gentle for your hair. Silk hijab is breathable and lightweight. It also minimizes the friction between the hair and the hijab. 

Other inexpensive alternatives are organic cotton and natural viscose hijab material. They both are lightweight and breathable. The fabrics allow good air circulation to the wearer and keep the sweats drying faster. 

Silk, cotton, and viscose are great hijab materials for hair. It helps prevent hair loss and scalp problems.
